Minesto and SEV to showcase Faroe Islands’ partnership to global energy industry stakeholders

Minesto together with the electric utility company SEV have been invited as speakers at international energy conferences OEEC and POWERGEN Europe, to showcase their joint project to make tidal energy a vital part of the Faroe Islands’ transition to a 100 percent renewable energy system.

Minesto’s CEO Dr Martin Edlund will present the company to institutional investors at Pareto Securities’ Renewable Energy & Clean Tech Conference in Stockholm on the 3rd of October.

Minesto speakers at industry conference Ocean Energy Europe 2019

Minesto will join a Welsh Government mission to industry conference Ocean Energy Europe Conference (OEE2019) in Dublin 30 September–1 October. OEE2019 is organised by Ocean Energy Europe, the industry association representing ocean energy in Europe.

OEE2019 is themed around the vision of ocean energy as a mainstream power source and COO David Collier will showcase Minesto’s Wales project on stage.

Strengthening Taiwanese ties at the 35th Sweden-Taiwan Joint Business Council Meeting

Organised by Business Sweden together with the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association, the Sweden-Taiwan Joint Business Council Meeting (JBC) is held annually, alternating between Taiwan and Sweden. Minesto’s CEO Dr Martin Edlund has been invited as speaker at the meeting, which this year is held in Stockholm on the 26th of September.

Martin Edlund will present the company’s project in Taiwan and how Minesto’s technology can supply renewable baseload for Taiwan and beyond.

JBC provides a high-level platform to enhance collaboration between Sweden and Taiwan – with focus on Smart Cities and Sustainable Societies. In attendance this year are key delegates from the Taiwanese Government, including Ms. Wang Mei-Hua – Taiwan’s Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs.
